Meet Chestnut 🐰🤎

Chestnut is a 4-month-old rabbit with a resilient little spirit and a big heart. He was born outside in Summerford and rescued alongside his brother, Clover, after the two were attacked by neighborhood cats. Both babies were covered in abscesses, but thanks to dedicated veterinary care and lots of love, Chestnut has fully completed his road to recovery.

Clover has since found his forever home, and Chestnut is now on his own and feeling a bit lonely as he waits for his turn. Because of his young age and background, Chestnut would do best with an experienced rabbit owner or someone truly committed to learning about proper rabbit care. Rabbits are intelligent, sensitive animals who require time, space, enrichment, and knowledgeable care—so plenty of research and preparation is essential before welcoming Chestnut home.

With patience, understanding, and the right environment, Chestnut has the potential to grow into a wonderful companion. He’s ready for a fresh start with someone who understands the commitment and joy of responsible rabbit ownership. 💕🐇
